Our homestay is located in Khok Sawang a small village situated on the outskirts of a larger village called Pla Pak. Pla Pak is a tranquil village, located 53 km from the city centre of Nakhon Phanom, the regional administration centre for the Isaan region. Isaan is in North East Thailand, adjoining the Loas border and seperated by the Mekong River. Good for fishing too.

Nakhon Phanom is a 1-hour flight from Bangkok or 12 hours by bus, we can arrange flights from Bangkok and collect you from Nakhon Phanom or Sakon Nakhom airport.

If you are visiting Thailand then a break at the retreat is an ideal opportunity to savour the Real Thai Way of Life. Whilst at the retreat we can arrange guided tours to local attractions or even a trip across to Laos on the ferry, which takes 20 minutes from Nakhon Phanom. Our homestay is set in 18 acres of land within the forrest of Isaan, northeast Thailand and near the village of Pla Pak, which is 45min from Nakhon Phanom.This is a totally original, unspoilt environment where you can experience a wonderfully relaxed Thai lifestyle. You will instantly be welcomed and invited to participate in every-day life, or simply enjoy watching the goings on around you. You will stay on a working farm with local Thai people.
