Welcome to Ting Tong Family Farm (TTFF) as our friends like to call it. Home of John & Wiraphan (Wi) Kirton. Our homestay is situated in Nakhon Phanom which is in North East Thailand often referred to as Isaan or Esan, separated from Loas by the Mekhong River. Here you can get away from the hussle bussle of the city and see the real Thailand where the local village life is unspoilt, quiet and where the people are so friendly.
At our homestay, we also have some of the local children come to stay at weekends and holidays who have either lost their parents or their parents can no longer take care of them. Every week we have someone different needing a bed to sleep or just to take time out to reflect on life and get back on track. So you will be living with Thai people where you can experience their daily life in a countryside environment.
Our main objective is to feed and look after the children that stay here and also feed ourselves too, life is quite basic and we are trying to become more self sufficient every day, so to subsidise our ever increasing family we have built additional accomodation of a more European standard so that people can come and stay here and join in with the daily activites. We also offer many other activities and guided tours that you can see offered in the 'Activities' page.
The term homestay means that you live with the family in their home, luckily we have plenty of room so as not to tread on each others feet if you know what I mean, you can just relax or join in, sometimes if we are busy we will ask you to make the coffee. Not the same as being in a Hotel or Resort where you are just a guest. Here you become part of the family as so many have become so far.
You will find here a totally relaxing experience with the true flavour of Thailand.
Our objective is to create, sustain and develop local business, increase tourism and invest in the community, while retaining the utmost respect for our environment.
